GEPRONAS

The  (GEPRONAS) Study Group of Natural and Synthetic Products consists of three laboratories belonging to the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Federal University of Santa Catarina. The main objective of the group is to form human resources capable of working with isolation, identification of natural substances, or with skill in structural modification of natural substances through semi synthesis or total synthesis.

The GEPRONAS have an interest in the study of bioactivity of compounds isolated and identified, for this, we have partners. Likewise, research analytical aspects of extracts from natural products (determination and quantification of markers).
